NEW YORK (AVAFIN) -- ServiceNow options set a new 90-day record for the number of contracts that exchanged hands between the buyers and the sellers on both the call and put side. Aggregate volume of puts was 11,168 and calls were 4,805 equating to a 2.32 put/call ratio.

Investors use options to manage risk and to speculate on price changes. Options can provide significant leverage if the stock moves in the right direction but aslo end up worthless if it doesn't.

The trading volume of 2M is above the 90 day average volume of 1M shares. Shares of ServiceNow edged down $1.23 (4.07%) to $28.97. The price of the stock ranged between a low of $28.57 and $30.50 respectively.
